Tabs & Presentation Folders Our tab sets can be printed in any ink color on a range of paper weights and finishes that complement your document and binder design. Presentation folders, too, can be printed on whatever stock you choose, with a variety of decorative effects, die cuts, and pocket options. Because we design, manufacture and finish these items entirely in-house, we save you time and insure a quality product. Tabs: Creating a Great Divide
ABCO customizes index tabs to your needs. So whether you want to print tabs on paper or poly, on one or both sides, with or without body copy, in one or more colors, and with or without mylar reinforcing, we can handle it. And we're quick about it, too. Our equipment can die-cut and mylar reinforce in a single pass. In addition, we can collate tabs and package them for shipment, or we can insert tabs into a document and binder that are also being produced in-house. The choice is yours, like everything we do the choice is yours. Custom Paper Index Tabs We stock white 90# index stock, but we can manufacture tabs from nearly any paper you choose. We can offset print the tab extension and body text or other art. To provide the tabs with added rigidity and protect against tearing, we recommend mylar reinforcing. Mylar is available in 14 colors, including clear. Custom Poly Index Tabs When additional durability is required, consider index tabs manufactured from polyethylene. Poly tabs are rugged, long-lasting, and easily cleaned - standing up to frequent usage without showing signs of wear. Poly tabs, similar to paper index tabs can be manufactured in any size to fit your specific needs. Tab Basics Standard index sheets are 8 1/2" by 11", with tabs that extend 1/2" beyond the sheet's edge. ABCO can manufacture tabs in any size or shape. For added protection and durability, consider mylar reinforcing the tab extension in any of 14 colors. Tab Banks A tab bank is a number of tabs in a single vertical layer. Tab widths are equally divided over the vertical span, which is 10" from a standard letter-sized sheet. Depending on the number of tabs you require, you may specify single or multiple banks of tabs. Tab Copy This refers to the text printed on the tabs. We will typeset this for you in a font that you select from our type library, or you can provide camera-ready art. Text can be printed on one or both sides and in one or more colors, including reversed-out type. Binding Edge The binding edge can be reinforced with a strip of mylar for added strength and durability. The standard width of a reinforced edge is 9/16". The tabs can be either drilled or not depending on your needs.Body Copy This refers to images printed on the body of the index sheet, which provides another opportunity to impact your marketing message or other important information. ABCO offers on-site, on-demand printing and offset printing to make this an affordable option that requires little or no extra time. Folders: Making a Stellar Presentation Pockets Pockets can make a visual impact. Ours take any size and shape you specify, from a single, glued horizontal pocket to elegant elliptical vertical flaps. You can opt to include slits for a business card or choose to incorporate a perforated card for your customer's Rolodex file. You may want a file tab for added functionality, or specify a box spine to create a larger-capacity folder. Whether you prefer ordinary or extraordinary, we've got you covered. Paper and Inks Paper options are as numerous as the paper stocks on the market today. We can recommend a number of economical and durable cover stocks, or you can specify a commercially available cover stock of your choosing. Decorative Effects For a distinctive touch, presentation folders can be decorated with foil stamping, embossing, debossing, or a combination of these. Foil stamping produces a sharp, clean image that is created using a colored foil that releases from its backing when stamped with a heated die. Embossing and debossing are also very elegant accoutrements to a custom folder. Embossing involves pressing an image into the paper so that it lies above the surface. In debossing, the image is pressed into the paper so that it appears below the surface of the paper. |
